Intranet Suite is the closest you'll get to having a virtual operating system running through your browser.  You can run as many application modules simulataneously as you need; imagine chatting in one application and arranging a meeting in another, and simply switch between them just like you would on Windows with no page refreshes and no loss of state.  You could be following a discussion thread and feel the need to chat instantly with its author- click the users name and you can do more than chat, how about sharing files, viewing their public calendar, reading their project weblog?  Intranet Suite does it now.

With its innovative, business-centric structure, Intranet Suite makes collaboration a natural extension of the system. Your organisational structure, assets and resources, employees are all accessible through a centralised tree list called Finder.  Context sensitive menu's appear depending on the item selected in the tree; click a car to book it, click a staff member to view their profile. It is all so easy to do because that's what Intranet Suite was designed to do.

Our over-riding goal was to build a system that users will feel at ease with.  One of the big drawbacks with conventional browser-based applications is their lack of consistency, you have to learn somebodies idea of a user interface for every different application you subscribe to.  Some are good, some are bad, but none resemble the familiarity of a Windows experience that everyone knows.

Your users will instantly feel at home in Intranet Suite.  It provides an unrivalled user experience that goes beyond the cosmetic.  All of the applications are integrated, all of the common features like SmartLinks are consitent across the applications.  Calendar, for example, lets you just drag events around to reschedule them- create a recurring event and want to adjust it back two days?  Just drag it two days behind and voila!  All done.  In the Site Managment module you can simply drag users into different teams and Intranet Suite will take care of the permissions and security side of things.  It's this level of intuition, instead of having to navigate page after refreshed-page of old-school web applications that sets Intranet Suite into a different league.

ACCESS ANYWHERE, ANYTIME

As you might have guessed, Intranet Suite is a next-generation web application.  The exciting thing about web applications is that everything you need is everywhere you need it.  With conventional software you may need to install software at home, software at work, software on your laptop, and synchronising your data between them can be a pain (if you manage it).  There's always files that you left somewhere or forget to back-up and bring with you.

Web applications bring back centralised file management but also put the applications themselves into the pot.  Anywhere you have internet access you get the applications and the data when you need it- as well as live communication with all of the other users on the system.  It's a very exciting way of working and Intranet Suite makes it easy. 

EASY INSTALLATION

Intranet Suite is a LAN based product that you install on your own servers (although we are rolling out a subscription version soon).  Installation and setup takes less than ten minutes and it's self configuring and very easy to follow.

Once installed, Intranet Suite is available to anyone in your organisation- there's no rollouts or client installation, just a URL that users enter into their browser.  New users register for an account with the system and a rapid approval routine gets people on-line and using the system quickly and easily. And there's no problems configuring the system to reflect your orgranisation; users pick and set-up their own details, all the administrator needs to do is approve, and even that can be handled with convenient user-groups and templates. Minimal structural information is all that is necessary to start working the Intranet Suite way, simply give Intranet Suite an idea of your basic company structure (such as your sites, departments and teams) and then let the system evolve itself as managers begin to handle approvals processes themselves.
