Intranet Suite is packed to the brim with exciting features and configuration options, the Preferences module is a users view of what they can change to make their experience suit them.
Choose from exciting visual themes, various layout options- change the way modules look and feel, use tabs or buttons to switch between applications - choose to have the desktop panel snap open when you mouse over them. As well as the numerious visual and layout options, Preferences is where a user can go to change their password, email address, timezone and display name.
Additionally, Preferences lets users edit their custom dictionaries and create/modify any distribution lists they may have created as they use the system. Personal dictionaries are created automatically whenever a user spell-checks a document and adds a word, in Preferences you can modify you personal dictionary and add or remove words, or even just reset it completely. The distribution list section lets you edit any exisitng lists or create new ones from scratch.
